User's notes

In an area of about 400square meters I cut and painted wooden stems of StJW at the base below the re-sprouting basal rosettes. We cut seed heads off last season when it was too late for spraying and stems with a diameter of up to 2 cm were beyond pulling.

thanks Ciaran
I added another photo that show some of the young shoots. The treatment of StJW like woody weeds is
an experiment. I'm using this CNM record to show what we've done. We do have large StJW close to floristic value sites where we avoid spraying if possible; hand pulling is no option since the plants are too big. The treatment can be done only for small numbers of StJW.
