Hi Simone, congratulations on adding a new species to CNM! I agree with your ID and have added the species to the CNM list but the species hasn't become available to add the sighting yet. I'll update this when the species becomes available in the system. This ant seems to be relatively uncommon, but was found in a number of pitfall traps surveying invertebrates in Mulligans Flat & Goorooyarroo NR in 2007. This is a queen who has lost her wings and the colours make her more distinctive than the ordinary worker which is smaller and generally dark brown. Cheers, Jon
