Leaves are up to 6 mm long, and 4 mm wide.
There are up to three stipes at a node.
I couldn't see any hairs on the young rhizome, or old rhizome.
There was just one sporocarp in the material collected (picture 3 and 4): it seemed to be covered in hairs, was 6 mm long and 4 mm deep (diameter unknown) , and seemed to have one beak, not very pronounced.
It keyed out to Marsilea costulifera in both VicFlora and PlantNet, but not a perfect match. Certainly is not M. mutica or M. drummondii
Habitat = edge of small dam
