Sorry Tapirlord, I have no idea what this shrub is, but I'm very keen to find out. It was growing in the sandy soils amongst the Bombay Bossiaea on the banks of the Shoalhaven River, which you can see in the background of the photos. This is going to be a lovely spot for swimming in the summer!
This is a great find Matthew, it is not well recorded in our region. In the ACT i've found it growing along the bidgee, so perhaps not surprising it is along the Shoalhaven also. It really looks like you have found a great spot!
Thanks for the ID @Tapirlord, very much appreciated and I knew that you'd know what it was. This spot is great, it reminds me a lot of the Murrumbidgee, so it feels very familiar but with slight differences, which are fascinating.
