Hi nature guy. Thanks for the confirmed grevillea sighting but only minutes before the sighting was confirmed as Grevillea alpina (Mountain Grevillea / Cat's Claws Grevillea) , so which is it please?
This plant is G.lanigera, which has paler cream and pink flowers and occurs in these open forests of the lower cotter catchment. G.alpina has yellow and red flowers and likes dry woodlands with a more closed canopy at lower elevation. Both species have a similar leaf shape.
