Maybe rather worn? I cannot figure out any particular wing pattern.

I don't really see many features of Scoparia (genus). The labial palpi seem too short annd stibby. But I do see features which suggest to me Strepsicrates (genus) (Oleuthrinae) There are sloping check marks along the costa, the foewing outer margins are ragged. Perhaps S. spenophora?

Unfortunatelyt though we seem to still have Strepsicrates (genus) species listed in 'Óther moths' when they should be listed in Tortricidae along with the other Oleththreutinae subf.) moths. However, I'm not sure what is the best approach to systemenatically fixing this error aross the three platforms; Canberra & Soithern Tablelands, Southern Tablelands and the South Coast.

Hi Ian, we can fix this issue easily at the national level, then it is ok for all regions.

I notice that one of the other sightings has the moth on a Caladenia sp flower. In the Caladenia Forest I recorded something like 50 patches of Caladenia fuscata in flower at much the same time as this moth record.

OK, thanks. We don't have many records or know much about this genus.
