There are two species in our system, this and N. jonquilla. I think they should be merged.

Why? The two are seperate species. Jonquills in Australia are thought to be mostly hybrids or intergrades so probably identification to speices is slightly erroneous.

Yes. I was getting at that, that it would probably be best to just have one option for all the "Jonquil" hybrids/cultivars as I think our deliniation between the two isn't very accurate here and it is hard with hybrids/cultivars. Same with how our Freesia sightings are all under the hybrid taxa.

Then I suggest the best method forward is to create a new taxa and reconfirm everything. We'll maintain the two species as well.

There are no sightings for Narcissus jonquilla on CNM so it could just be removed.
