To many buds in the cluster for E.rossii. Many local eucs posess the furrowed bark around the joint, so it is only diagnositc when seperating E.mannifera from E.rossii

Thanks that makes sense, I was also a bit thrown by the overall features (doesn't seem like the local form of E. pauciflora I am used to)

It’s probably not the local forms, E pauciflora was planted here as a street tree
