User's notes
Emergent only as water levels fall. Otherwise rises to just below water level. The ponds in DSW are temporary but have held water throughout the year during the La Nina years. I believe that this is likely to be the first record of this species for DSW. How the species arrived is a mystery.

Given the above comments I went back and tried to get a better image which shows the structure and structures a bit better. I trust this helps.
