The casings ran a long way up the trunk, as well as branching off. I didn't have the heart to squash one . . . I'm hoping I've ID'd correctly - I can't see any hairs?

Hi Lisa, your ID is probably right, but the hairs can be hard to see even in a good photo, so I’ve confirmed the sighting at genus level. Cheers, Jon
