User's notes
At least a dozen or so sprawling ground cover plants near the side of the fire trail. This was only one of two flowers in bloom that I could see (the other flower being on a separate plant). Looks like Platylobium sp. to me but unsure of species ID. Fairly large and attractive single flower on both plants. Location approximate.
