User's notes

So excited!! I've only recently been able to access the creek again, and today, in beautiful weather, I stood on the bank hoping to see a trout in the crystal clear water (which I'd seen a week ago, no photos of course). I heard a plip, then a plop, then saw a wake of ripples head towards the other side of the stream - and there was a busy rakali, its white tipped tail airborne as it dived. I waited to see if it would emerge from the overhang, but all I saw were ripples. Eventually, quite a way up the creek, I saw it again, snapped a couple of blurred shots, and wandered away - happy.
