Hi Untidy, great photo, but to ID the ant it is very useful to have other views. Ideally, one from the back, one from the side and one looking at its head. Not always possible in the field, but something to aspire too! Cheers, Jon

Thank you, Jon, for your ID and helpful comment. We never know whether it will be obvious enough from the photo so I put it up anyway. We (my husband and I) will try to get other views whenever we can.
