Thank you. Feels like a silly question - but what does ‘undescribed’ mean in the cricket world?

It means that the species is known from collections but the characters defining its uniqueness as a new species have not been formally described and published. Often give a number. Museum collections are full of such species waiting for a taxonomist to take on the task. Applies to all species - plants/animals - the lot.
