Sorry Barb, I'm confused by your suggestion to compare H. decurrens subsp decurrens with H. decurrens subsp decurrens. Plus the record of the Ainslie specimen shows fruits. So what should I compare?

Because this sighting is H. sericea and if you look at link you will see why I changed it from what it was wrongly identified as. The open fruits are needed for ID.
