Planted among Eucalyptus macrorhyncha line but obviously not that species

Both the buds and adult fruit is not that of E.bridgesiana, if that was collected from the tree then I suggest we are instead looking at E.albens which I believe was planted in association with this project.

Leaves are wrong for E. albens, but take your point re apple Box perhaps it is Grey Box E. microcarpa?

My thoughts are that the fruit is nothing like albens.
We would not have planted E microcarpa as it is not a Southern Tablelands species.
