I'm not sure this is N. nigerrima because I acanot see markingson the forewing I associate with that species.

Thanks, Ian. I have lightened up one of the photos a bit so that you c;an see the markings a little better. It was quite a chocolately colour but also in deep shade so it was hard to match the precise colour. Thank you for your help.

not a Bogong Moth. The forewing trailing margins are sreaigt. not rounded.
