This case moth was climbing up the window by making a ladder. It waved its head from side to side, depositing a number of short strands of silk to make a rung and then climbed up with successive pairs of legs before making the next rung. When it stopped for the day, it attached itself with numerous strands of silk radiating from the mouth of the case. The last photo, taken from the outside of the window, shows the other side of the caterpillar's head. After two days, I placed a container over it so I could collect the moth that hatched out. However, it must have already been parasitised, and it was a wasp that hatched out three months later. This is shown in sighting 4483058.
