Flower stems (prickly, dead) appear to be part of strap-leaved plant. If not for the flower stems, would assume L. longifolia

I don't think teh flower stems belong to the Dianella leaves

D revoluta is the commonest Dianella in this location, and the spent stems look nothing like the photo, hence I opted for Lomandra. The stems in the photo just came out of the ground, no dead leaves or other attached, and were in the middle of the (Dianella) plants, hence the possibility of them belonging to the plants
