@Hejor1 : Oh dear. I am unclear where the animal is in this photo? Is it the nearly horizontal slightly curved bundle of little sticks with a vaguely pointed righthand end, trapped by a bent back piece of bark? Was it locomotory? If not: what made you think it was a Psychidae larval case, rather than say a camouflaged cocoon or spider egg sac or just some trapped detritus? It does not resemble any of those illustrated at http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/psyc/psyc-cases.html
