Is this a Jewel beetle mimic? and if so why would it want to pretend it was a jewel beetle?

...so it will eventually meet me! But seriously Michael, it does have fascia similar to Castiarina but I have no idea what the value in that would be. Cryptic markings dont work as well on Bursaria as they do on say Lepto or Kunzea in my opinion...
