Attracted to UV light at night (50w Gecko).

This is the second sighting of this moth at this O'Connor garden site for a species that has usually been regarded as a coastal species. See G. Cocking's comment for the previous sighting No. 4371939. Nevertheless there would appear to be a local population given that the larvae has also been recorded at Goorooyarroo NR., see sighting 4356179. The known food plant is the Tree Violet Melicytus dentatus which I know I have planted in my garden, although this sighting was not recorded in association with that plant.
