User's notes

Flowering. Band ~37m x varying width along slope, 2m at bottom to 6m at top end. GPS point at centre point of band. Scattered patches (various size) and individual plants. Most plants with multiple flowering stems. Largest, tallest, most profusely flowering plants in edge of soil scrape at bottom of slope. South end of site at eastern/northern most scrape towards bottom of slope facing Polo Flat Road. Relatively deep basaltic soil with occasional small surface rocks and stones. Majority of site is dense native grassland, close to 100% sward cover, extending down to northern edge of scrape. MGD in grassland mostly in interstitial spaces between grass tussocks but also within grass tussocks. MGD in scrape occurs in steeply sloping exposed edge of deep soil. Basal tufts of two MGD plants in scrape adjoin grass tussocks/had tussocks growing through them.
