Continuing on from prior FOG MGD 17-18 Nov 2018 hunting weekend. Most plants multi-stemmed (5cm-20cm high) and in various stages of flowering, though many, if not most, of these in full flower. Scattered patches (various sizes generally less than 50cm x 50cm) and individual plants, part of a band following the contour. Also some non-flowering or sparsely stemmed (1-2) flowering plants with variable sized basal tufts. Southern end of ridge top, on more gentle sloping part of shoulder before track dips sharply to southwest. Rocky basaltic soil. Native grassland with a mosaic of grass tussocks, exposed rock, and small patches of bare ground. MGD mostly in interstitial spaces of bare ground between grass tussocks and rock but in many cases in and around grass tussocks.
