User's notes

Continuing on from prior FOG MGD 17-18 Nov 2018 hunting weekend. No close up pics. Photo here is for landscape context. No flowering observed. Two plants with stunted, sparsely vegetated basal tufts, approx 10cm diameter and 1-2 cm high. Plants appear to be chewed back and have loosened root stock. At southeast end of site on area flat ground below high voltage power lines. Grassland, mixed native (dominant) and exotic. Basaltic soil. Extensive interstitial patches of bare soil and occasional small rocks with abundant cover of loose, curled up, dry lichen. Evidence (scats) of recent sheep grazing. Extensive cover of ungrazed and partially grazed grass tussocks. MGD plants in interstitial patch of bare soil.
