User's notes

Continuing on from prior FOG MGD 17-18 Nov 2018 hunting weekend. No flowering observed. One plant with stunted, sparsely vegetated basal tufts, approx 10cm diameter and 1-2 cm high. Plants appear to be chewed back and have loosened root stock. At north end of site on shoulder dipping to northwest below north end of ridge top. Grassland, mixed native and exotic (dominant?). Rocky basaltic soil. Extensive interstitial patches of bare ground and exposed rocks and stones with abundant cover of loose, curled up, dry lichen. Evidence (scats) of recent sheep grazing. Extensive cover of ungrazed grass tussocks.
