Continuing on from prior FOG MGD 17-18 Nov 2018 hunting weekend.
Many plants with unopened flowers - generally 1-2 stems (up to 15 cm) per plant. Strip 40m x 10m, mostly scattered, small individual plants (various patch sizes) with short basal tufts, generally no more than 2-4 cm high.
Towards south end of crown lease block on gently sloping shoulders and flat sections on western side of ridge top. Grassland, mixed native (dominant) and exotic. Rocky basaltic soil with abundant cover of loose, curled up, dry lichen. Evidence of cattle grazing. MGD in interstitial patches of bare ground amongst and around exposed rocks and stones.
