Continuing on from prior FOG MGD 17-18 Nov 2018 hunting weekend.
Flowering, 2 short stems (to 10 cm) partially open. Mostly stunted basal tufts, approx 20cm diameter and no more 4 cm high, some exposed root stock.
Towards south end of crown lease block on gently sloping shoulder on western side of ridge top. Grassland, mixed native (dominant) and exotic. Rocky basaltic soil with abundant cover of loose, curled up, dry lichen. Evidence of recent cattle grazing. MGD primarily in interstitial patches of bare ground amongst and around exposed rocks and stones.
