As of yet the only known individual of this species in the ACT, we are after any records of naturally occuring trees of this species in our region.

User's notes

The only mature River Redgum in the ACT is now the centre of a future forest with dozens of seedlings and hundred of other seedlings distributed along the Murrumbidgee Corridor in the ACT Have added a photo of the juvenile leaf

There is not enough detail in this photo to be confident that it is a River Red Gum

I've been told that this is a River Red Gum but never had a close look at it to determine if that is the case. Did you get any photos of the buds or fruit?

I was basing this on the fact that I thought it was a well-known tree. I can remove the confirmation if you aren't confident

I noticed that the other four sightings of River Red Gum on CNM are shown under Eucalyptus camaldulensis subsp. camaldulensis rather than just Eucalyptus camaldulensis, not sure why this is the case.

Thanks Matthew that one is the local subspecies but its hard to know with all plants their true origin (planted or not).
