Hi Avery , sorry I can't id the shrub from your photo. I need at least a close-up of leaves; even better would be fruits or flowers. If you plan to come to our Monday sessions you could collect and bring a specimen - Barb may be able to identify it as she knows more about plant species than me.... When you collect a sample place it in a plastic bag in the fridge. Sorry again, but after spending more than half an hour trying to id the plant from the photo I gave up. W
Will have flowered several months ago, but the foliage is still distinctive. Given the ID, I don’t reckon there is any need to make a collection. Collected material isn’t all that valuable without flowers or fruits anyways.
T, reg the collection of a sample iId suggest of course not the whole plant just a bit of a branch with some leaves and, if present, fruits. Thanks anyway for id. w
The picture as I see it here is a blurry mess compared to what I see when I download it (or in the original when I look at it on my phone or computer), so I don't know what is going on here. It also seems to be cropped in the view. But CNM has the original picture data, but is just displaying it wrong, for me at least, for some unknown reason.
