User's notes

There were at least three other species of insects clustered around this flowering shrub. The presence of the Katydid may or may not have been incidental to the flowering. Nevertheless, it is a possible pollinator.

Katydid nymps often feed on flowers and pollen but it is not clear if they are effective cross pollinators as they are not very mobile. The shrub is Cassinia longifolia.
