My understanding is that C.canens is thought not to occur in the ACT, it was only known from historical records collected many years ago.

But this one is totally spherical unlike the other variabilis. Surely it deserves its own species. 😊
Also. Could you have a word with the taxonomists about clustered everlastings. The prostrate ones really should not be the same species as the ones a meter tall. 😊

Ahh if only. I believe there has been suggested revisions of the chrysocephalum, but they are yet to be widely accepted.
