User's notes

Not a sighting but possible scratchings? Location is not far from audio monitoring sight but similar marks also found on the small gum closest to the hwy underpass, 4-5km away

My thinking was the trunk was probably too large for a koala to get its arms around given the way the scatches are oriented in relation to one another.

I couldn't find a similar set of photos for goanna scratches on trees

I need to go back to the Tidbinbilla Enclosure, and this time take some photos, but these scratches look different to koala scratches as I remember them. (The Tid enclosure is also used by BTP and formerly at least by Greater Gliders, so some care is needed there, but there has typically been a high koala density ~0.7 to 0.8/ha so its a good place for reference material such as scratches and scats).

Thanks Don, I've "Undone" the confirmation of Koala.
