to my delight this beautiful Dragonfly landed in front of me for a minute or 2 then flew off, awhile later saw another male fly past quickly, it may have been the same one.

Wow! Apart from being a gorgeous little dragonfly, this is a most unexpected location for this species. They're usually associated with high altitude boggy seepages. Great find!

Thanks Harvey, it made my day and also finding out we had seen Black-faced Perchers as well, 2 new species of Dragonflies for us on one day and not far from home, never know what you will find these days. cheers, Deb
