This moth looks similar to a Carponsinidae (family) moth observed at the same location, see CNM Sighting No, 4233147 although this moth appears overall lighter in colour. This moth could be Carposina latebrosa, or a similar, Carposina species, although given the previous discussion (see 4233147), I'm not sure a species can be confidently assigned.
I note all records I see online, inckuding Bold Systems 4 are from Tasmania. This ia a mainland record. https://v4.boldsystems.org/index.php/Public_SearchTerms?query=%22Carposina%20tanaoptera%22[tax]
The evidence from Bold Systems 4 and https://bold-au.hobern.net/ suggests that C. tanaoptera is a species found in Tasmania. see here:- https://v4.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?searchMenu=taxonomy&query=Carposina+tanaoptera&taxon=Carposina+tanaoptera https://bold-au.hobern.net/specimens.php?taxid=323840 While this does not categorically rule out C. tanaoptera also occuring on the mainlaind, I think a site record alone (for example) it is quite difficult to distinguish C. tanaoptera from C. taractis (for example), or C. latebrosa - both species which Bold Systems 4 says occurs both in Tasmania and the mainland. https://v4.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?searchMenu=taxonomy&query=Carposina+latebrosa&taxon=Carposina+latebrosa https://v4.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?searchMenu=taxonomy&query=Carposina+taractis&taxon=Carposina+taractis https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/105929299 April 16 2025
