The species formerly called Ambigolimax nyctelius is now Letourneuxia nyctelia (Bourguignat, 1861).

Thanks Michael. Is this the 2nd change in a few years? I will have to get around to updating its name in CNM.

Yes, the story does not end there however. Apparently the only correct way of determining these invasive slugs is by dissecting their reproductive systems and through DNA. But for the moment the pictured slugs above are Letourneuxia nyctelia (Bourguignat, 1861).
