Absolutely, Canberra orchid society certainly helps with that. I was watching this colony last year but didn't get to see them in flower, this year I managed to find time in between my exams.
There are several colonies on Farrer Ridge in one place white ones but giving the coordinates leads to people digging them up last season someone dug up lots of donkey orchids. Have you found the Stegostyla congesta yet? I no longer report the whereabouts of orchids and rare plants that I find because even though the parks and conservation knew the site of spider orchids they wiped out most of one site with their fire truck when doing a control burn. Then dumped a pile of rocks on a colony of donkey orchids which never were seen again.
