Is it just me, or is there more Long-tailed Pea-blues around this year than usual? I've been seeing them in many places where I've never noticed them before.

Seems to be a lot of sightings on CNM at the moment to support there being good numbers and I even saw my first one ever so surely that's an indicator.

Certainly having a bumper season. Suzi Bond, in the ACT butterfly field guide, notes their status as 'Common, widespread migrant, possibly also resident' also 'As with other migrants, numbers can fluctuate from year to year' which explains it.
