Why did you change your mind about the id for this one, Ciaran? Less hairs? More pointy leaf lobes? (I'm guessing from the Vic Flora key.https://vicflora.rbg.vic.gov.au/flora/key/2634) This is new species for Mt Majura/Ainslie.
I had the same question; first photo seems to show hairy leaves but magnifying glass would be needed to see more details such as whether hairs are curved... I wonder whether to collect a specimen? V. plebeia would not only be a first description for Mts Majura/Ainslie but also it is described for only a few other sites in ACT.
Nah, no need to bother. This ID should be fairly simple, I was keying through 50 or so sightings at the time so I imagine I might have made a mistake. Let me have another go.
