User's notes

This looks like prickly pear. It has been planted by a gardener near the stream running through the Lyall Gillespie Corridor. Many other fruit trees, olive trees and vegetables have been planted in the same spot, but if this is prickly pear, it's a concern.

I wonder if some-one has mistaken it for Opuntia ficus-indica which produces edible fruits. @mcleana one to get rid of
