Distinct White Flower, largish for a Violet, 2-3cm diameter, leaves bigger still 3-5cm across, bright shiny green, forms rosettes with trailing runners, Creeping & Trailing stem, growing in damp Habitat, Forest floor, Yellow Box grassy woodland. Responding to moist weather conditions, Not previously sighted at this Location, near Clancy's Track, Watson. Leaves have serrated edge.
They can become quite invasive as I observed in the reserve behind Rivett Street where there are huge amounts probably started by the dumping of garden waste. I think it is a good idea to remove manually infestations as long as they are small/single plants - I tried an experimental spray with selective herbicide but no result...
