Thanks for the ID @Tapirlord. I was surprised this hasn't already been recorded at Mulligans Flat and was wondering if the occurrence given in the Field Guide to the Native Trees of the ACT has been updated since the 1983 edition (the only one I have) which says it is "uncommon in ACT, known from Long Gully, Mt Majura and near NE border."
I think there may have been collections from mulligans, but I can't nail down anything specific, certainly the first CNM record from the area. I suspect this species is probably overlooked more than anything, it can appear similar to Euc.bridgesiana and Euc.nortonii without a closer look which doesn't help. I was on Mt Majura the other day actually, where there are certainly plenty of trees. A small remanent population occurs at farrer ridge, which is near long gully, plus the two other localities you mention. But otherwise I think that's it in terms of known sites, certainly a species worth reporting when you come across it!
Meredith Cosgrove's 'Photographic Guide to Native Plants of the Australian Capital Territory' also has excellent photo's and information on the local Eucalypts.
