Only the second Australian record of this species - a rare find indeed
User's notes
This specimen was on rotten wood on the underside of a long-dead branch lying on the ground. Herbarium collection HL6672 at CANB.

This species has been found in several countries but thus far it appears to have been found only once in Australia, near Gunningbland, a little west of Parkes in NSW. I have checked that the spores of the specimen shown here have a a warty surface, thereby ensuring that it is not the smooth-spored Arachnocrea stipata.
