User's notes

I have seen orange specs under logs and rocks all winter. Today I investigated and made these photographs. I think it's a slime mould. It was growing on the soil under a brick, and on the underside of the brick as well. Each clump is only 1mm or so in diameter. No invertebrates seemed to be present.
