Flowers about 20mm, I think it's an oxalis but dunno if it's a wood sorrel or not. It was a bit flashy so I had the feeling it was exotic.

Right so having a look at commonly recorded weedy Oxalis in NSW, Oxalis pes-caprae seems a decent match.
