This is the first one I have seen with such obvious spines on it, and quite different from other cryptops sightings. Much chunkier than the others.

Yes I agree, it took me a bit of research to decide what it was. It’s definitely a Scolopendroid given the overall form. Cryptops use spines to capture their prey, although I only found one image on ALA that was anything like as spiny as this one. I suspect it may be something new or at least very seldom seem
