Only one inflorescence remaining after all the others eaten at various stages. The lowermost flowers were first seen open on 25 April and were still wide open on 26 May. They had partially closed by 18 June, but the upper ones were still open/ing. Most of the dark yellow pollinia are still contained within the anthers, although a few seem to have been dislodged, possibly by the aphids that were all over the upper parts of the plant and which seem to be common on the flowers of this species.
