Rocky gully, eucalyptus forest, approx 900m, South facing slope. Small solitary cluster.

Hi Julie, The genus Corysanthes was split off from Corybas by David Jones from the shape of the dorsal sepal. so we have the nodding helmets (Corybas) and the toothed helmets (Corysanthes). Not all people agree with this split.. Our local helmets comprise 3 species of Corysanthes and hispida is flowering well this autumn. They often favour cool south facing slopes.
