Photos include 4 individuals, ants are very active in the area, the second photo is of a spider carrying its ant prey underneath (legs just visible)

Could these be Masasteron? Framenau, Baehr and Zborowski p303 has a photo of a similar spider from WA and says Masasteron all have highly complicated male pedipalps like the ones in the main photo

@SimoneC unfortunately you'd probably need to get it under a microscope to be sure. I'm also not aware of Masasteron distribution extending to Canberra. There are a number of other genera that have similarly complex pedipalps.
