Apologies for poor photo, my camera was not really up to the job. Category 3 may well be wrong. Growing on a piece of dead bark in leaf litter.
2nd photo added 8 April, same specimen. Possibly a Cyathus species?

The rather squat shape (more barrel-like than tapering towards the base) and the furriness around the specimens in the main photo make me think of Nidula rather than Cyathus.
